Who Watches?
I defy you to read Watchmen and not do the same exact thing.
I think my favorite detail in this one is Cory’s escalating enthusiasm about whatever he’s telling Jason. He’ll never tell a story as interesting as that one that you’ll actually get to see.

HAH! I couldn’t help but laugh at Jason’s blank stare right before he started reading again- because I did the same thing!!! XD I had to read Watchmen all over again… can’t get enough of that Watchmen goodness!

I read Watchmen, and it had the most disappointing endings of any piece of fiction I have ever read.

Meaning the outcome disappointed you or the narrative disappointed you? If you mean the narrative, then man, I couldn’t disagree more. To each his own, though.

I have to strongly disagree with zaroff, probably my favorite piece of fiction hands down. I totally did the same while reading it, not much else to do during a week of a family reunion, ha!
I’m kind of disappointed they’re making a movie out of it though
