Okay, now it's definitely been more than a month.

I been busy, though... Somthing I think's worth sharing is that I've been lucky enough to intern at "Family Guy." I've been there since September, and it has really been a pleasure. I've gotten to see tons of the creative process. I even got to go to a table read with the actors, which was a lot of fun. I mention all this not to boast, but because I'm still a little in awe, myself.

There are a few office art shows/auctions that I was asked to participate in. The first art show had the theme, "Movie Posters," so everyone parodied movie posters with the "Family Guy" and "American Dad" characters. There were some really awesome submisions. One of my favorites was a parody of the 1985 animated Transformers movie. It was done by an "American Dad" guy, so the "American Dad" characters were the Autobots fending off attacks from the Decepticons, drawn as "Family Guy" characters. Movies ranged from Vertigo to Sin City, from Jaws to Blade II. Seth didn't do one, in case you were wondering.

This was my submision:

The second art show (which is this Friday) has no theme, so I was at a loss for an idea for a while. I ended up borrowing from an earlier drawing that you might recognize. The title is:

"Like that Time I Was an Airport Security Guard."

It's been less than a month and somehow there's an update already? What am I, getting better at this?

So here's some artwork for the project I've been talking about. The script calls for a movie poster for a movie called "Kid Ballaz, Too!" Let me know what you think:

Changing subjects, Halo 3 comes out in two days and I'm going to be playing it way too much. If you want to say hi, my gamertag is, predictably, Cronny.

Seriously, you have no idea how funny my friends will find it when you join our party because you've been to Cronny.com... In a laughing with you kind of way.

Also, mention "Tappin" for bonus points.

So I'm amazed to learn that people who I've never met in person actually come here occasionally.

With you three in mind, I thought I'd do some bragging: About two months ago I won the Tim and Eric's Awesomecon trivia and was crowned, "TRUE CHAMPION OF AWESOMECON."

I'm in the video starting at the "Wet Balloon Toss."

What a great day.

In more Cronny.com-related news, I've been working on a pilot since about May. The pilot is for a show about Jason and Cory, the guys in that comic that I posted on 03.30.7, who also appear in some other stuff on the site. I'm really excited about this project, and I'll post updates here fairly frequently.

I'm just about finished writing it and after that we'll get to recording it, and finally animating it.

Here's a look at one of the characters from the show. His name is Van Norden:

I made another Tim and Eric appearance! This time I was featured a lot more. Thanks, Tim! Thanks, Eric. Thanks, DJ Dougpound!

This also shows the clothes I had on the day I went down to have my picture taken, which proves that it's definitely me impaled on that flagpole; my face was imposible to see so we couldn't be positive that it was me.

It'll be on the Fix until the 13th, which is coincidentally the day the Aqua Teen movie comes out. The Aqua Teen movie that I'm going to be out of town for... Gah...

New comic. Read it and share in the pain, become puzzled, or realize that I'm something of a nerd.

02.23.07

All this week you can see me (for about three seconds, face obscured from view) in Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job! on the Adult Swim Fix. I'm in the last shot before the credits, suspended/impaled by a flag pole!

Bitchen!

Mojizu.com. It's a very cool online artistic community. I've been submitting work there for a little more than a month. Now, why it only just occurred to me to post about it here is beyond me.

Check out my page, look at my "Mojis," and be sure to give me the "mad 10" vote. I think my newest one, "Intellectual Frustration" actually has a shot at "going to war." That will make sense to you when you if you check the site out.

Oh, you need to register an account to vote.

The index has been completely overhauled. Much simpler now.

I'm not sure yet whether I'm going to make the rest of the pages look like this too. I'm not even sure if I'm gonna leave the indext like this, but I'm not going back to what I used to have.

I make'um new new comics.

Also, yours truly is going to the Tim and Eric labs tomorrow to be photographed for an upcoming bit. No clue if anything will ever come of it, but it's exciting nonetheless.

I divided the Art² section into two parts, "Fine Art" and "Sketches".

(Art² because it's the Art section within the Art section, see?)

Oh, and "Aw Stampz!" is now, "Aw Stumpz!"

I expect an increase in traffic by at least 800%.

I've just taken a poll, the results are in, and I have something very important to report:

You Are 100% Angry
You are a very angry person - and you might not realize it.
While you may think that you're bitter, depressed, or bad tempered...
What you're really feeling is anger.
While you may not need anger management, you may need some therapy!

I'd like everyone to know that, while I respectfully acknowledge the test results, I have chosen not to act on them.

Funny side-note: the image the poll-makers chose to use for the "100%" scenario is a public-domain picture of me. Yes, that is an undoctored photograph of yours truly.

Happy 4th of September, all. The "Art" section finally exists. Hoozah.

08.01.06

I've added an "AW STAMPZ!" section. It's a highly extensive collection of the things on the site that don't belong in any of the other sections. Normally that's not exactly news-worthy, but there hasn't been much activity here for far too long.

However, fret not, citizens! I've got two new projects that will be making the rounds here very soon. I'm really excited about both of them. They'll bring about a big change of pace for Cronny.com. Well, that is, a change of the pace that was before there was just no pace.

Speaking of the old pace, I've got something coming for you Cronny.com OGers as well (so I guess that makes 3 new projects...). It's the "Turn Around" video that I briefly mentioned in the Newgrounds description of Certain People. Though this project will be taking the back-seat for the time being...

So the new TMBG newsletter was sent out yesterday. It was without a single mention of the Certain People video that Operator Dot had said they wanted to link to. To quote John Linnell in a recent live rendition of Fingertips, "No Understando."

I emailed Dot to ask her why, hopefully I'll hear back soon and let you all know what happened. I think it should be definitively stated that I'm not at all bitter, just puzzled.

UPDATE: Heard from Dot. Apparently it was just a mishap. The newsletter was written on the fly, from a remote location, so they just forgot to mention the video. It'll appear in an upcoming newsletter. All's well that ends well.

05.31.06

Happy June-eve, everyone.

Anway, I've added navigation to the index, and created some place-holder pages just so everything in the navigation will have something to link to while I put off creating the real pages.

I think things are coming together quite nicely, don't you?

05.24.06

I've opened up a Cronny.com store

You just know you want to patronize me!

I'll find a more permanent way to put it up on this page later, but for now this will do.

05.23.06

Wow. It just keeps getting better and better!

I got an email from Operator Dot yesterday, asking on behalf of They Might Be Giants for permission to link to my Certain People video in their next email newsletter! Of course, I said yes. I also asked her to remember that I'm always willing and able to do an official music video if they see fit to ask me. Hell, I don't even need anything in return; I would honestly pay THEM if they asked me. I'm just psyched that they like it!

Because I am not sure if the newsletter is going to link here or to NewGrounds, I might need to replace the Certain People video with a link to NG due to bandwidth costs. Don't worry though, I'll have it up again once everything normalizes.

Jhonen Vasquez on Certain People: "great choice of song and the video was fun."

Wow... that was awesome! I was up late last night and about to go to sleep, when I noticed that for the first time ever, Jhonen Vasquez's screen name (which I had somehow accumulated on the internet and forgotten about) was active at the same time as mine. At first, I decided I was too nervous to say anything to him; I mean, this guy is one of my idols. Luckily, a friend of mine, who insists I refer to him as "Flapjack", changed my mind. I did a bit of ass-kissing, but I honestly meant every word of it. He seems like a nice guy, and he even offered some wisdom that I hadn't really had the tollerance to see on my own.

I've changed his sceen name because I don't want my millions upon millions of viewers to start flooding him with instant messages, but you can read our conversation here.

On a side note, this means I can officially take JV off my List of Famous People With Which I Want to Have AIM Conversations!

05.17.06

Excellent! Front page on NewGrounds!

05.15.06

Screw it, I'm up on newgrounds! Here's the link so you can give it the mad "five".

05.14.06

Well, after many more months than I care to admit, the Certain People I Could Name music video is finally ready.

I'm debating adding subtitles before I go live with it on newgrounds. On the off chance that anyone comes here yet, email me and tell me if you think it needs them. I'm so familiar with the song that I understand every word, so I can't choose on my own.

05.07.06

I just finished the biggest parts of Certain People. It's starting to look like I might be able to meet my two-week deadline after all.

Of course, knowing myself, I'd guess that I'll probably be tweaking it for a month before I'm satisfied...

05.05.06

Cool. New layout.
